Survey Says: Repeal Obamacare

Last week Conduit for Action ran a survey on its website and social media platforms to gauge how people felt about Obamacare at the federal level and Obamacare in Arkansas (Arkansas Works). Here are the results of that survey:

Question One: Do you support or oppose Obamacare?

Support: 4%

Oppose: 93%

Not Sure: 3%

 

Question Two: Do you support or oppose Obamacare Medicaid Expansion in Arkansas (previously the Private Option, now called Arkansas Works)?

Support: 6%

Oppose: 93%

Not Sure 1%

 

Question Three: Do you Support or Oppose Gov. Asa Hutchinson’s plans to keep Obamacare Medicaid Expansion (Arkansas Works)?

Support: 6%

Oppose: 90%

Not Sure: 4%

 

Question Four: Do you believe that Health Insurance is a “right” and should be paid for by the government (taxpayers) if the poor (uninsured) cannot afford it?

It is a Right – We need socialized, single payer health insurance: 6%

It is NOT a Right – it should be treated like any other form of insurance – 43%

It is NOT a Right – the elderly, disabled, and children should be covered though, but NOT able-bodied, working age adults (Medicaid Expansion population) – 50%

Not Sure – 1%

 

Question Five: What is your position on the repeal of Obamacare?

Repeal: 66%

Repeal Now and Replace Later: 20%

Repeal and Replace at the same time: 7%
