Private Option: SB96 in two sentences

SB96 continues the Private Option to December 31, 2016 (when it is scheduled to expire anyway without SB96), and seeks to continue coverage to the Private Option population through development of a new law. SB96 creates a task force with the duty of recommending a new “legislative framework” (law) to continue health care services to the Private Option population.
